 Registration for the Holy Family Learning Center 
 2012-2013 school year 

• Enrollment for REGISTERED members of Holy Family Catholic Church for the 2012-2013 school is Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at 9:00 am – Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at 2:00 pm. A completed enrollment form and non-refundable registration fee per child may be turned into the school office during school hours anytime during the week of registration. Any openings will be randomly filled at the end of the registration period.
• Currently enrolled children and siblings’ registration is Sat., Jan. 28, 2012, at 8:00 am – Friday, Feb.3rd, at 2:00 pm.
• HFLC Alumni registration is Jan. 30, 2012, at 9:00 am – Friday, Feb. 3rd, at 2:00 pm.

 Annual Mardi Gras Party  

Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 18th. We are currently in need of auction items for the fundraiser. Please drop off at the church office or contact Greg Mays at hips_n_knees@yahoo.com to coordinate delivery. Ticket sales will begin this weekend, January 28 & 29, at all the Masses. The Women’s Club needs volunteers to assist with decorating the Parish Hall for the Mardi Gras. Dates are Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17th and 18th. Please email hfccwc@gmail.com if you can help.

 Scouting News 

• Holy Family Troop 418 announces an Eagle Court of Honor for Dominic “Nick” Vulcano on Saturday, Feb. 4th, at 2:00 pm in the Weekday Chapel. Nick’s service project was building HFCC’s Rosary Walk.
• All Boy Scouts of the Catholic Faith (regardless of troop) are invited to attend the Ad Altari Dei religious emblem classes beginning Sundays at HFCC in February. Contact David Vulcano at 615-268-2638 for inquiries or to register.
• Calling all Cub and Boy Scout Leaders: The 2012 University of Scouting is a one day supplemental training for all volunteers that is being held March 3rd at HFCC. Diocese of Nashville Catholic Committee on Scouting is hosting Catholic Religious Emblem Program Training and would like to see you at this training where you can learn how to run the religious emblem programs in your unit.

 Information for Hospitalized or Homebound Parishioners 

If you or a family member are hospitalized and would like a visit from a priest, please call the office at 373-4696 with your request. HIPPA Laws no longer allow the hospitals to notify the parishes with this information.
If you are confined to home or a nursing home, and would like a visit from a priest or a member of our Home Visitation Ministry, please notify Kitty Lim at kitty@holyfamily cc.com or 373-4696, Ext. 223. This ministry brings communion to parishioners on a weekly basis.

 Lenten Opportunities for Women 

Women’s Faith Sharing will be offering two different weekly Lenten Bible studies on consecutive Thursday or Friday mornings from 2/23/12 through 3/31/12. Both studies will be from the Threshold Bible Study series. Thursday’s study will be: The Resurrection and the Life by Stephen Binz and Friday will be The Tragic and Triumphant Cross, also by Stephen Binz.  Mission Honduras – 2012 
 Registration is Still Open 

The HFCC Mission Honduras Advisory Board will be leading 3 teams to serve the poor of Honduras in 2012. Team 1 will go from May 31-June 9th (10 days); Team 2 will go from June 9-16th (7 days); and Team 3 will go from June 16-23rd (7 days).
