CONNECT - "Catholics of Nearby Neighborhoods Enjoying Community Together." The goal of this program is to create a smaller church environment, and its purpose is to know and care for one another as neighbors and fellow members of Holy Family Catholic Church. This program is designed to do the following:
Moms & Tots - Program provides social interaction for children, newborn through preschool, and
their mothers. Group meets every Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the church.
Prayer Shawl Ministry - Knits and crochets shawls for the sick and elderly while praying for the recipient. This group meets every Monday at 6:00 pm at Panera Bread in Brentwood.
Funeral Reception Committee - Supports persons in parish who have experienced death in their family by setting up, serving food, and cleaning up at funeral receptions for grieving families.
Helping Hands - Provides services to parishioners when
they are faced with unusual circumstances, such as the death of
a family member, a serious illness, or surgery. Services may include
meal preparation, cleaning, transportation, etc.
Baking/Cooking for Special Events - Parishioners sign up to be on a call list and are willing to prepare food for special parish events (funerals, Life Teen and Religious Education retreats).
Greeters (at Masses) - Welcome newcomers to our parish family by greeting and answering questions before all masses in conjunction with the Welcoming Committee.
Welcoming Committee - Reaches out to welcome new parishioners and visitors to our parish by supplying information after all masses at our Welcoming and Information Table. Also holds bi-monthly New Parishioner Welcoming Reception.
Men’s Club - Sponsors a number of parish activities, including the Christmas Basket Program, Parish Picnic, Annual Mardi Gras & Auction, and Sunday Coffee & Donuts. Meets the first Monday of each month.
Women’s Club - Faith, fellowship and fun! Meetings include prayer, spiritual time, service project updates and social time. In the past, we’ve sponsored Easter Egg Hunt, fashion shows, and Breakfast with St. Nicholas. Come and join in the fun with the women of our great parish. Meetings generally on the second Monday of the month.
Serra Club - Serra International is a lay organization of the Catholic Church, whose mission is to
foster and affirm vocations to the priesthood and religious life, and through this ministry, further our members' common Catholic faith. Serra of Williamson County men and women of Holy Family, St. Philip, and St. Matthew parishes who are concerned about the apparent shortage of priests and religious. They meet monthly for dinner and a program of vocations.
