A strong effort has been made over the past few years at Holy Family to establish the principles of Catholic Christian Stewardship as the motivation for giving our Time, Talent, and Treasures. Stewardship is based on our need to give, not on the church's need to receive. It is based upon the premise that all that we have and all we are come from God and, as a way of thanking Him for all of our blessings, we return a portion of our Time, Talent, and Treasure He has given us. Christian stewardship provides a spirituality that you can take home from church. It is exercised at work and expressed through personal involvement in the community and the parish.

steward_01There are over 85 different ministries available at Holy Family. Opportunities to give your Time and Talent to these ministries can be found each week in the bulletin, weekly in the announcements at Mass, and in the parish Newsletter. Then, each year there is a special Sunday where all parishioners have the opportunity to express their interest in available ministries.

Also, each family will be asked to make a financial commitment to the parish and to the Bishop’s Annual Appeal which supports programs, ministries and services of the Diocese of Nashville.

Each week in the bulletin there is a summary of financial contributions made to the parish and the Diocese. Other information included weekly is parish debt information and the number of families who contributed to the weekly collections at Mass.

Holy Family members can be proud of the many ministries supported by the Time, Talent and Treasures of our parish membership.

Gifts of Securities: A gift of appreciated securities is one way to make a significant contribution at a reduced cost to you. Federal tax laws allow a charitable deduction for the full market value of securities on the date of your gift. To make a gift of stock or other securities, please contact Pam Comeaux in the Parish Office at 373-4696. Please consult with your tax advisor on the applicable tax savings since this may vary among individuals.

Stewardship Through Planned Gifts
